Bring placards and flags.Greater Manchester Pension Fund (GMPF) have their quarterly Management Panel and Advisory Panel meeting on 10th December 2021 at 10.00 am. Each Council in Greater Manchester has a representative on the board.
GMPF is the pension fund for all Greater Manchester local government employees. They pay into it, and the local council pays into it. So if you work for the council, or pay council tax, your money is going in – so you should have a say about how it is invested.
Michael Lynk, the United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteur on Human rights in the Palestinian Territories, wrote to the chairs of all the Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS) and their national body LGPS Advisory Board urging them to divest. Read his letter here:
