Join the Palestine bloc on International Women’s Day, 8th March, Saturday at 12 PM at St. Peter’s Square.
On IWD, we, the pro-Palestine groups and community will join the march organised by Manchester Feminist Coalition, to reaffirm that the Palestinian struggle for liberation is a cause of justice and a global symbol of resistance. It is a struggle against the brutal structures dominating this world and perpetuating endless harm.
On this day, we will remember and honour Palestinian martyrs, women and communities, their sacrifices, losses and revolutionary tradition. We will honour those fighting for freedom and dignity against the Zionist colonial power and its allies around the world. From the streets of imperialist Britain, we will shake the throne of patriarchal, capitalist and colonialist systems in defiance and solidarity. We will never abandon the oppressed, and will remain committed to them until this world is a better place.
*The Manchester Feminist Coalition’s statement for this day: *
International Women’s Day is not just a day of celebration—it is a day of protest, strike, and action, a call to return to our roots.
This year, we honour the radical politics of IWD from its origins. We remember the generations of women who not only resisted patriarchy and its chains but fought against all forms of oppression and exploitation.
We take to the streets to organise, to learn, and to teach. We come together to strengthen our feminist coalition—to build something bigger, stronger, unstoppable.
This is our fight. Not just for one day, but every day from now on. Until we are all truly free.
