Tel Aviv University (TAU) is not a purely academic university; it is the academic backbone of the Israeli military. It is built on stolen Palestinian land, and collaborates deeply with Israeli weapons manufacturers.
TAU hosts several military training programs and it allows student-soldiers to carry weapons on campus. It enhances Israeli soldiers’ capabilities in oppressing the occupied Palestinian population. During the genocide in Gaza, where we have witnessed unimaginable atrocities committed by Israel, TAU set up an “engineering war room” to “invent solutions” for frontline soldiers, such as cameras for the Israeli military dogs which have mauled several Palestinian civilians to death.
TAU has played an active role in the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians across all of Palestine. The University of Manchester must cut ties now. Join now to show that genocide-enablers are not welcome! Make this demonstration on Wednesday, 12 March at 11.30am a big one!
