Long Live Palestine and her children! All out in Manchester on Saturday 5 April, 12pm, Piccadilly Gardens on Palestinian Children’s Day!

Palestinian Children’s Day commemorates the plight of Palestinian children and youth living under Zionist colonialism.

This year’s Children’s Day comes as the barbaric Zionist entity re-accelerates genocide in Gaza. It was only a few weeks ago that 183 children were mercilessly slaughtered in the March 18 Massacre that killed more than 400 Palestinians!

Not even the festival of Eid could bring escape for Gaza’s youth. Rather than scenes of joyous celebration, the images were instead of lifeless children who were killed by Israeli shelling while they were still in their finest clothes!

This comes after 17 months of genocide that has killed a child in Gaza every 45 minutes! It has not only been Israeli bombs and bullets that have murdered more than 15,600 children in Gaza – but also hunger and disease imposed by Zionist siege and utter destruction.

In annihilating Palestinian children, the Zionist scheme is clear – to not just eradicate Gaza’s present, but to eradicate Gaza’s future too.

And in the West Bank, the brutal occupation has killed a Palestinian child literally every other day since October 7! Its massive assault on the West Bank, approaching its third month, has forcibly displaced more than 40,000 Palestinians – a scale of ethnic cleansing not seen since 1967.

Even before October 7, between 500 – 700 Palestinian children were imprisoned each and every year! 17 year-old Walid Ahmad was killed in captivity just weeks ago after being subjected to torture and abuse!

A Free Palestine is one where a child in Jabalia can enjoy celebrations of all kinds in total peace, and where children in Jenin no longer have to fear never re-emerging from dark and murky dungeons.

Until then, it is our solemn duty to do our utmost to end Britain’s blatant complicity in the suffering of Palestine’s children – from ongoing arms sales, to intelligence-sharing and diplomatic cover and beyond.

If your child deserves freedom – Palestine’s children do too!

So join us on Saturday April 5, 12pm, Piccadilly Gardens.
