All out for Palestine on Saturday 12th July in Manchester! Ceasefire Now – Stop Genocide Profiteers! Meeting at St Peter’s Square, 12pm

21 months of genocide. Israel has slaughtered over 57,000 documented martyrs in Gaza, with estimations of actual numbers reaching hundreds of thousands more. The bombardment is endless, the siege is relentless, starvation is being used as a tool of oppression and hundreds of Palestinians have been shot dead at aid points supposedly established to ease their suffering.

If that was not enough, Israel has once again stated its intention to violently and forcibly displace Palestinians in Rafah on a mass scale under the guise of “voluntary migration”, all the while extinguishing the indigenous population day by day.
Make no mistake; this is ethnic cleansing. This is genocide.

International powers and profiteers continue to, at best, turn a deliberate blind eye to the atrocities being committed by Israel and at worst, padding their pockets with the blood of the oppressed masses. Our high streets remain riddled with companies who view colonisation as a means for financial gain.

This includes the likes of Booking .com, which promotes and financially benefits from the establishment and expansion of illegal Israeli settlements in Palestine. Also Allianz, which provides Employers Liability Insurance to Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer; Elbit Systems.

Against the backdrop of a governmental clampdown on legitimate resistance and direct action against Israel, the spirit of revolution persists. We are guided by the ability of Palestinians to remain steadfast in the face of oppression; of those who, despite the bloodshed, have sacrificed their lives to see and end to settler-colonial Israel.

It is a duty upon us to continue to channel that spirit alongside Palestinians. Our role here is to strike imperialism, it is to cripple colonialism, and it is to do so on a continuous basis.

We will not stop, we will not rest, until the ties of murderous causation are finally severed between Israel and Britain, and until Palestine is freed in its entirety, from the river to the sea.

Join us this Saturday 12th July, St Peter’s Sq, 12pm
