Join Manchester Big Ride for Palestine for the Great Ride of Return from Gaza Sunbirds:

When

12th Oct 2025
10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Event Type

After a break for August and September the next monthly Big Ride is coming up.

Gaza Sunbirds have called the next global mobilisation of the Great Ride of Return to take place October 11-12, 2025. To participate in this, we have brought forward the October to 12th October in place of the usual 3rd Sunday of the month.

We will be meeting in Sainsbury’s carpark, just off Wilmslow Road in Fallowfield , M14 6SS at 10.30am.

The route will include Didsbury, Withington, St Peter Square, Lower Broughton, Media City then back to Sainsbury’s in Fallowfield via Old Trafford and Rusholme by 13:30. It will be approximately 18 miles. We will have experienced riders to manage the traffic at busy junctions, and back markers to ensure we cycle as one large group and prevent anyone being left behind

There is no need to register, just show up.  If you are able to assist as a back marker or help with traffic management, please email (chrisrobertsgm@gmail.com) or let one of us know when you arrive.

If you’re coming by car, please note that car parking in Sainsbury’s car park is time limited so do check the parking notice. Alternatively, there is on road parking on Ladybarn Road nearby.

Hope to see you on October 12th
