Greater Manchester Friends of Palestine (GMFP_ and Manchester Amnesty will be jointly displaying an exhibitions Gaza Remains The Story Greater Manchester, which has been created by the Palestinian museum in Birzeit. The exhibition gives an account in words and pictures of the story of Gaza and its people, its history and its culture.

It addresses the occupation of Palestinian land, the blockade of Gaza, and the many brutal assaults in Gaza. It strives to inform , educate and narrate stories of historical locations and cultural practices in Gaza, providing a glimpse into Gaza’s arts , aspirations and uniqueness.

Confirmed Exhibition showings:

  1. Bolton Socialist Club – 26 Sep to 4 October
  2. Friends Meeting House, M’cr – 26 Sep to 10 Oct
  3. Manchester  University – 17 October
  4. Cheadle Mosque – 18th October to 1st November
