Join the demonstration in Manchester this Saturday 21st December to stand in solidarity with Palestinians as they suffer yet another winter of devastation due to the ongoing genocide. There is, once again, no Christmas in Gaza this year. Meeting at St Peter’s Square, 12pm

This time last year, the number of martyrs documented by the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza was almost 18,000. Now, the death toll of known martyrs has reached over 45,000, with thousands more missing under the rubble. This is not to mention the countless who, even if they survive the relentless bombardment, will inevitably die from starvation and exposed living conditions with tent scraps for shelter.

Make no mistake. This is not a humanitarian crisis. This is genocide. There is only one root cause of this unprecedented oppression – the Zionist entity. This is the same regime that has colonised Palestinians and ripped from them their lives and lands for over 76 years; Palestinians of all backgrounds, ages, faiths and non-faiths oppressed for decades.

Another Christmas season passes by and as festivities take place across the world, Palestinian Christians in Gaza have been denied a second year of celebration by Israel. Israel is notorious for depicting its colonisation of Palestine through a whitewashed, racist, and Islamophobic lens; another depraved attempt at erasing Palestinian history and heritage, dismissing the presence of Palestinian Christians who are part and parcel of Palestinian social fabric.
Not only is their presence denied by Zionist propaganda, they are actively being eradicated and ethnically cleansed, be it in Gaza or the West Bank, as Palestinian Christian communities are being crippled by Israel.

It cannot be “business as usual” whilst genocide is happening. We cannot normalise oppression and occupation, merely because it has become a regularity. There is not a single Christmas in Palestine over the last 76 years that has not been usurped in some way, shape or form by Zionist colonisation. Enough is enough. We must rise up and demand an end to this abhorrent regime, once and for all.

Raise your voice. Join us on Saturday 21st December, 12pm, St Peter’s Square!
