Protest: Stop Arming Israel! Shut Down Elbit!

On Monday activists from Palestine Action occupied the Elbit Systems factory in Shenstone were engines for Elbit’s drones are manufactured.

We need to continue to take our protests on the streets in against the arms trade with Israel, in support of the action people are taking at Elbit Shenstone, and not be silenced. At the same time as staying safe. We have checked the government guidelines and  political demonstration can be held provided COVID-19 secure guidance is followed.

 COVID Guidelines for Protest

  • We can have up to 6 people on each corner socially distanced .
  • Social distance – Please ensure you remain 2 metres apart. Raise your arms at the start of our demonstration to ensure you are 2 metres apart.
  • Wear Face masks/coverings – These known to reduce risk & show that we are taking precautions
  • Practise Hand hygiene – regular hand washing/hand sanitiser please.
  • Only ‘Zero-Contact’ alternatives for handouts like leaflets and contact sheets to be used.
  • Photos/video should show you and other demonstrators maintaining social distancing.

To ensure that people do not bunch up at the end of demonstrations a loudspeakers will be used.
