STOP TRUMP PROTEST!!

When

20th Jan 2017
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Where

St Peter's Square
City Centre, Manchester, M2 3AE

Event Type

On Friday 20 January, Donald Trump will be inaugurated as President of the USA.

Exploiting concerns about globalization, Trump’s election campaign was built on  racism, misogyny and dog-whistle antisemitism. Racists, misogynists, white supremacists, anti-Semites, climate change deniers, homophobes, anti-abortionists, billionaires and a ‘Mad Dog’ General are Transition Team Trump. With his support for Israel’s illegal settlements and relocation of the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, Trumps is also a supporter of Zionism. The Israeli Prime Minister has welcomed Trumps election despite the dog-whistle antisemitism of the Trump campaign.

Manchester PSC will be supporting the Stop Trump Protest and will have a stall and banner at the rally.

Called and supported by Manchester Stand Up To Racism, Greater Manchester CND, Manchester Campaign Against Climate Change, Manchester Stop the War Coalition, Bolton Green  Party.
