As some of our communities observe Ramadan, we think of those in Palestine who are going through another Ramadan under occupation.
After the genocide in Gaza and now the intense ethnic cleansing in the West Bank, many will struggle to celebrate seeing their tables missing key loved ones that were murdered by the zionist entity, their homes reduced to rubble, their livelihoods taken away due to the zionist entity’s bureaucracy, their food more and more difficult to secure, their places of worship now desecrated or them being unable to enter due to the occupation’s whims.
The violence towards Palestinians and daily struggles couldn’t occur without the support of arms sales and arms manufacturing via companies like Thales which has a partner with Elbit Systems (Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer).
