Journalists Murdered in Gaza – Stop killing the Truth

Join the vigil on Wednesday 6 December 2023   4.30 to 5.30 pm   King Street Roundabout Oldham (the Ashton Road end)

Bring a candle and  a high viz tabard  – if you can
Most importantly, bring yourselves

The International Federation of Journalists has said that at least 58 journalists including 51 in Gaza have been killed since 7 October .  Israel has banned foreign reporters from entering Gaza and it was left to Palestinian journalists to risk their lives .  In the West Bank, the use of social media is being increasingly used as a reason to detain and arrest people .

With the resumption of the killings in Gaza it is more important than ever to keep the focus on what is really happening.

See you there.
