One Year of Israeli Genocide in Gaza

All out on Saturday 5th October to commemorate One Year of Israeli Genocide in Gaza and to stand with Palestinians as they resist against Israel! Meeting at Piccadilly Gardens, 12pm.

On 7th October 2023, the Zionist regime began its brutal bombardment of Gaza. There is no horror that has not taken place, and the atrocities Palestinians in Gaza have suffered would be unfathomable were they not live-streamed before our very eyes. We have witnessed the severed limbs of Palestinians cast throughout the streets, unidentifiable Palestinian bodies delivered by the truckload by the Zionist regime. We have seen mass graves, people carrying pieces of their families in plastic bags, endless streams of orphans, over 700 children aged between 0-1 recorded as having been slaughtered.

Over 41,000 Palestinians have been murdered by Israel in the space of the last 12 months. A 649-page document published last week by the Ministry of Health in Gaza states the biographical information of over 34,000 of these martyrs.

Across the West Bank, Zionist aggression has increased ten-fold. Their continuation and expansion of the settler-colonial hold over Palestine persists. Thousands of Palestinian political prisoners are being brutalised day-in, day-out. Palestinian villages and cities are being stormed and destroyed by IOF soldiers. And yet another step in the colonial handbook is the bombardment of Lebanon and the abhorrent cyber attack carried out by the Zionist regime.

And yet – Palestinians refuse to relent. They have remained steadfast in their pursuit of liberation. No matter the losses sustained, the spirit of resistance cannot be extinguished.
Therefore, we must not lose momentum and it is our duty to continue to amplify the call for liberation and demand Palestinian freedom. Our demand will be unwavering until it is fulfilled – until Palestine is free, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.

So join the demonstration on Saturday 5th October, 12pm, Piccadilly Gardens!
