PUBLIC MEETING: PALESTINIANS IN ISRAEL – STATUS AND ROLE IN THE ISRAELI-PALESTINIAN CONFLICT

19th May 2016 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Awad Abdelfattah is the General Secretary of the National Democratic Assembly (NDA), which used to be known as Balad.

The NDA is the party of Haneen Zoabi and Azmi Bishara and forms part of the Joint List, which is currently the third largest grouping in the Israeli parliament (Knesset). The Joint List is overwhelmingly supported by the one and a quarter million Palestinians who make up 20% of the Israeli population.

Awad Abdelfattah will be joined by Bernard Regan (Palestine Solidarity Campaign EC and Member of NUT) to talk about life for Palestinians living in the State of Israel.
