Remember the Children of Gaza

Sunday 17 August 12noon Albert Square, Manchester

We appeal to families in Manchester to join together to remember the children that have died in the recent Israeli bombings of Gaza.

As one voice we will unite to say the bombing must stop, the siege of Gaza must be lifted.

We will read the names of the dead and fly balloons in memory of the children. Please bring your friends and family, leave your hand print on our wall of memory.

We will make a collection for humanitarian aid with Interpal

We will be joined by:

MEP Julie Ward, Cllrs Yasmin Dar, Daniel Gillard, Aftab Ahmed, Ahmed Ali, Rabnawaz Akbar, Bev Craig, Mark Hackett, Lufhtur Rahamn, Emily Rowles, representative of the Green party, poets, trade unionists and others.

CAN YOU HELP?
Can you arrive at 11am to help us set up, bring snacks to give away, help run our information stalls?

4000 SIGNATURES NEEDED
Fly the Palestinian flag on Manchester Town Hall for one day this year. If everyone who receives this email signs the petition we are more than half way there.
