We have entered the 54th consecutive week of the genocide in Gaza. The Zionist regime has slaughtered more than 42,000 Palestinians in Gaza, hundreds in Lebanon and countless more across Occupied Palestine, all in the name of expanding its settler-colonial hold over stolen land.
On Sunday 6th October, Israel launched a surprise invasion on Jabalia camp in North Gaza. Palestinians in the camp, without warning, were surrounded by Zionist forces, then bombarded by air attacks and bullets, being told to evacuate then shot dead if they try.
Yesterday, Israel carried out further massacres, killing and injuring tens of Palestinians, amongst them children. Israeli tanks roam between Palestinian houses, led by Zionist soldiers searching for their next target. At least 400,000 people remain trapped in North Gaza, being suffocated, burned alive and executed by the Zionist regime. Jabalia is becoming an open graveyard, with dismembered Palestinian bodies scattered throughout the smoke and fire-filled streets.
This is the latest of the continuous horrors and atrocities committed by the Zionist regime over the last year in Gaza. The false mask of democracy has been ripped away from Israel, revealing to the world only its true bloodthirsty pursuit of power. Israel acts with the same shameless impunity as the last 76 years, having reared its imperialist head and begun attempts to expand its settler-colonial project into Lebanon, propped up by its network of corrupt colonial brethren.
We must break the chain of corruption. We must force the cessation of oppression. The power is with the people, and the people will not rest until Palestine, and the entirety of the Middle East, is free from colonial subjugation.
Join us this Saturday 12th October, 12pm, St Peter’s Square, to demand the dismantling of the Zionist regime once and for all!
