All out in Manchester on Saturday, 28th September, 12pm, St. Peter’s Square. Stop Gaza genocide. Stop Israel’s mass murder in Lebanon! We will be joined by musical performances in support of Palestine and the resistance.
There is no end to the brutality of the Zionist regime, nor does its barbarism know any boundaries. As we near marking a year of genocide in Gaza, Israel has unleashed its violence on the south of Lebanon, forcing residents to leave and causing more pain and suffering. Its relentless bombing on Monday 23rd September has led to the murder of 500 Lebanese and the injury of over a 2000 so far.
This follows days of continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon that have already killed over 30 people and wounded thousands across the country. What was hailed by Western media and establishments as an “extraordinary tactical operation” was in fact a murderous assault by a colonial aggressor on yet another Arab population.
The rivers of bloodshed that are stretching across the region, are another dismal chapter in the long legacy of Israel’s genocidal thirst for domination. They are a manifestation of an ultimate evil backed by the imperial powers of the world that are still pumping weapons into Israel’s murder machinery.
As we come close to a year of genocide, where we have witnessed the most unimaginable atrocities known to humankind, and as Palestinians displaced in Gaza are drowning under the heavy rains with no shelters, we must continue rising up to end Israel’s attacks against Palestinians and all Arabs. 76 years of ethnic cleansing, including hundreds of massacres are worth our relentless struggle for a world free of Zionism and its savagery.
We take inspiration from years of resistance to Zionist land theft and assault on so many people’s lives and livelihoods. In the face of more violence we fight back even stronger against all forms of oppression, so join us on Saturday, 28 September, 12pm, St. Peter’s Square. We will be joined by musical performances in support of Palestine and the resistance.
