Surviving During an All-Out War – Interventions in the West Bank and Gaza During War Time

Mohammad Tamimi, Director of HIRN (Hebron International Resource Network)

Thursday 25th April 2024 6.30pm for 7pm start

Cross St Chapel, Cross St, Manchester M2 1NL

At a time of severe crisis in the region, HIRN continues its humanitarian work on behalf of the most marginalised and threatened communities in the South Hebron Hills and the Bethlehem Governorate. Through a sister organisation in Gaza, it is supporting work with the traumatised population, especially women and children.

From life-changing interventions with individuals, to spirit-lifting community work with those who have received no salary for 6 months, HIRN explores new routes to give besieged people hope.

The presentation will look at HIRN’s work during the six months of the war in both geographic locations, followed by Q & A.
