The Big Ride for Palestine

A Charity Bicycle Ride from Edinburgh to London for Palestine Ist – 9th August 2015

Come to a meeting on Wednesday 11th February to find out more about this nine day , 474 mile ride. The Big Ride is an initiative by supporters of the Palestinian struggle for justice who want to combine our love of cycling with a mass fund raising effort.the-big-ride-1the-big-ride-2

Dr Mona El Farra, Vice President of the Red Crescent Society for the Gaza Strip, and sister of Musheir El Farra, Chair of Sheffield PSC, has asked supporters to raise the profile of the Palestinian cause in Britain and to raise funds for children’s projects in Gaza. We’re hoping to have 1,000 cyclists join this epic ride from 1st to 9th August . As we pass through towns and cities , we want to bring attention to the plight of the Palestinians and stage events and meetings. There are a variety of ways of helping out and becoming a volunteer, as well as becoming a rider.

Please come along to the meeting on  Wednesday 11th February, 7.00pm – 8.30 at
Falafel Restaurant on Wilmslow Road in Rusholme.

Please forward.
