VIGIL & PROTEST AGAINST ISRAELI ARMY KILLINGS

Photographs below from April 3rd protest and vigil outside Manchester Central Library on St Peter’s Square for the 17 unarmed Palestinian protesters killed on Friday 30th March by the Israeli Defence Force.

The vigil was addressed by Jenny  Lynn, National Executive member of Palestine Solidarity Campaign and Councillor from Calderdale,  Councillor Jill Lovsey, Norma Turner (Chair Manchester PSC) and Adie Mordech (MPA). A message of support was recieved from North West MEP Julie Ward.

Protesters held coffins with pictures of each of the 17 killed. Their names were called out followed by a minutes silence.

The vigil & protest was called by Manchester Palestine Solidarity Campaign and Manchester Palestine Action.
