Since last night, the Israeli murder machinery has been relentlessly bombing Gaza, killing 326 Palestinians and injuring more than 660 so far, while many are still under the rubble. How many times have we seen this news before? How many times have we woken up to see the people of Gaza having to bury their loved ones? Or running away from the burning fires? Or trying to survive with no means of survival available? It is yet another massacre resembling the countless others that Israel has committed in Gaza for over 15 months.

This bombing follows Israel’s decision to break the ceasefire, vowing once again to resume its genocide in Gaza, and to murder and displace more and more people. This bombing also follows Israel’s countless violations of the ceasefire, through blocking entry of food and aid and shooting dozens. Those that have been killed today by the brutal bombing were already suffering and have died starved and with no proper shelter to begin with.

Palestinian blood is still spilling over the shattered streets of Palestine, with full impunity and with a guarantee of more arms exports and support from the imperialist powers supporting it.

We in Manchester have always been clear, our support and solidarity with Palestine is unwavering and will never stop until Palestine is free. We have also been clear that our eyes will always remain open on Gaza, knowing that Israeli aggression knows no end.

So, join us today for the emergency demo at 5pm, St. Peter’s Square, and demand an end to the genocide. A small Iftar will be provided to those fasting.
