ALL OUT ON THE STREETS OF SALFORD!!!

When

9th Jan 2026
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Event Type

On Friday the 9th of January at 6pm we will be out in force at the Sodexo corporate office in Salford to rally in support of the hunger strikers who have been denied their rights and held without trials in British prisons.

At this moment, three prisoners remain on their hunger strike; Heba Muraisi, Kamran Ahmed and Lewie Chiaramello. They have each struggled through 65, 58 and 44 days respectively without food to fight for basic demands for dignity and in solidarity with Palestine.

Their demands are:
* End all censorship of communications
* Immediate bail
* Right to a fair trial
* Deproscribe Palestine Action
* Shut Elbit Systems down

We will be outside the Sodexo office, the firm who runs 6 UK prisons, including HMP Bronzefield where hunger striking prisoners have been held. Sodexo profit from the subjugation imposed by the UK state on our citizens, subjecting the hunger strikers to awful conditions, restrictions, malicious behavior and negligent treatment. We will be outside their offices on the 9th to support the hunger strikers and make our outrage clear. This maltreatment of prisoners will not stand.

The UK government have refused to act. They have turned a blind eye to the suffering of prisoners supposedly under their duty of care. In the House of Commons, they laughed about the conditions of those starving for their principles. They would watch these prisoners die before lifting a finger to fulfil their responsibilities.

Now is a crucial moment. The bodies of the prisoners have started to collapse and their lives are in danger. Already five prisoners have been forced to end their strike for health emergencies.
Heba is suffering from breathing problems and muscle spasms. Kamran has been losing his hearing and has been hospitalized five times. Their bodies are failing. They are at risk of death. We must act.

Join us on the 9th at 6pm. Come in solidarity with Palestine and with the hunger strikers. We must put pressure on Sodexo and the government to force action, save the lives of these prisoners and enact meaningful policies to stop Israel’s genocide against the people of Palestine.

Be there.
