Join us for an inspiring evening with Iyad Burnat, a dedicated Palestinian human rights activist and leader of the Bil’in Popular Committee. Iyad has spent his life advocating for nonviolent resistance and the fight for justice, freedom, and human rights.
His story is featured in the Oscar-nominated documentary Five Broken Cameras, which sheds light on the struggle of Bil’in, a Palestinian village resisting occupation and land confiscation. He is also the author of Bil’in and the Nonviolent Resistance and a recipient of the 2015 James Lawson Award for Nonviolent Conflict.
