RESISTING THE ONGOING NAKBA: STAND WITH PALESTINE
This week marks the 78th anniversary of the Nakba (The Catastrophe). The displacement that began in 1948 never ended—it continues today from the ethnic cleansing in Masafer Yatta to the genocide in Gaza.
We refuse to let our government remain comfortably complicit in these atrocities. This Wednesday, Whalley Range Peace & Justice returns to the crossroads to disrupt, to remember, and to demand justice.
Join us to STAND WITH PALESTINE:
WHERE: Brooks Bar Junction, M16 7RN
(Graphic lists M16 7R, use 7RN for your GPS)
WHEN: WED 13th May
TIME: 5.00-6.00 PM
Why Your Voice is Critical This Week:
• To Honor the Nakba: We stand in the unbroken tradition of Palestinian Sumud (steadfastness).
• To Expose Complicity: As our banners say, the British government is complicit in the Gaza genocide. We must take that message directly to the streets.
• To Demand Action: An immediate ceasefire and a total two-way UK arms embargo.
Action: Bring your flags, your keffiyehs, and your uncompromising spirit.
