We have entered the 98th consecutive week of the genocide in Gaza. The Zionist regime has mercilessly killed more than 60,000 documented martyrs in Gaza, a fraction of the real figure, and murdered countless more across Occupied Palestine in the name of expanding its chokehold over stolen land.
We have long surpassed witnessing horrors. There is no word in any dictionary on this Earth which would possibly describe the sheer magnitude of the atrocities committed by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza. Israel is the antithesis of humanity – a poisonous power intent only on the destruction and annihilation of an indigenous population.
In Gaza, Israel continues to carry out further massacres day-in, day-out. Israeli drones, assembled on Western soil and funded by global powers, flit between Palestinian houses. Thousands upon thousands have been suffocated, burned alive and executed by the Zionist regime. Gaza has become an open graveyard, with dismembered bodies and starved corpses scattered throughout rubbled remains.
Now, Zionist powers have admitted what we have known all along; their aim to invade and engulf Gaza in its entirety, a complete and total occupation of stolen land underpinned by decades of brutal precedent. They act under the guise of “temporary measure”, when we know the intention is yet another shameless, violent and permanent land grab to allow the growth of settler-colonial Israel.
Meanwhile, across Occupied Palestine, Israel continues its relentless mission to extinguish all of Palestine and Palestinians alike, having recently approved yet another horrific plan of mass ethnic cleansing described as a “settlement project”, wherein the scraps of land left to Palestinians in the West Bank, already riddled with illegal settlements, is to be severed from East Jerusalem.
Israel acts with the same shameless impunity as it has done over the last 77 years, having reared its imperialist head again and again throughout Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iran and beyond, ever-expanding and remorselessly targeting any challenge to its illegitimate existence.
We must break the chain of corruption. We must force the cessation of oppression. The power is with the people, and the people will not rest until the entirety of Palestine is free from occupation.
