All out in Manchester on Saturday, 14 June, 12pm, Piccadilly Gardens. Stop Israel’s starvation of Gaza. Stop the genocide! Important: please bring white sheets for a die-in.

For over two months Israel has been blocking aid from entering Gaza, using starvation as a tool of genocide. On top of relentless bombing, Israel is causing those that survive the massacres to die slowly, inflicting even more pain and suffering on the Palestinians.

Only yesterday an infant died of malnutrition. More than 9,000 starved children were hospitalised due to these despicable and murderous acts of the Zionist entity. Not only has Israel been blocking aid from entry, but has also set-up US-Israeli militarised distribution points that are no more than traps to further kill and terrorise. 106 Palestinians were shot dead as they were waiting in the queue.

The so-called condemnations we are hearing of some of the world leaders, including in Britain, remain meaningless if accompanied by the continued arming of Israel and the active participation in the genocide. Israel is able to starve millions of people because it has been allowed to commit all other crimes for over 600 days, and throughout its ongoing ethnic cleansing of Palestine for 77 years, with full impunity and support.

This only shows that it is up to us, the people, to change the tide. Yesterday, the crew of the “Madleen” flotilla was detained by IOF as they were on their way to deliver aid to Gaza, and thousands of people from Tunisia are currently on their way to break the siege. This is in addition to brave people who take action against weapons companies. We are inspired by those actions, but most importantly, we remain inspired by those resisting in Palestine, and committed to those that are being slaughtered, maimed, orphaned, displaced, starved, arrested and tortured in Gaza and across occupied Palestine.

So join us on Saturday, 14 June, 12pm, Piccadilly Gardens for a march and a die-in. Please bring white sheets.
