All out in Manchester this Saturday 9th November! Stop Israel’s 76-Year Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine – Take Action! Meeting at St Peter’s Square, 12pm
The genocide in Gaza continues relentlessly. Israel rages on with its violent pursuit of expanding its settler-colonial project. As we have learned over the last 76 years, there are no limits to the brutality of the Zionist regime, as it ensures a continuous flow of bloodshed across Gaza, across the rest of Occupied Palestine, and now in Lebanon, too.
Britain, the imperial core, is littered with shameless instances of complicity in Palestinian suffering. This complicity has manifested itself as half a billion pounds in arms to the Zionist regime since 2008, as 300 arms exports licences to Israel still in place, and as billions funnelled to the Zionist entity from Britain over decades through corporations operating on our doorsteps.
Make no mistake – we, the people, have the power to put a stop to this complicity. Barclays Bank, with its atrocious history of funding South African and Israeli apartheid alike, learned this the hard way. Barclays was forced to divest £3.4 million from Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer, due to the unity and mobilisation of the masses and the power of Palestine Action. Barclays, much like Fisher German, iO Associates, Puma and more, learned that the people will not relent until our ultimate goal is attained.
We must do all we can to sever the ties between Britain and the Zionist regime and always prioritise the Palestinian voice as it calls for necessary action to damage Israel.
Where taking action means boycotting, then we must boycott. Where it means pressuring for divestment, then that we must do. Where it means demanding sanctions, then we must demand them loudly and clearly.
Long live the people’s uprising against colonial corruption, and may we soon see the day that Palestine is free, from the river to the sea!
Take Action! Join the demonstration on Saturday 9th November, St Peter’s Square, 12pm!
