Leaflet for Demonstration

Manchester PSC will be joining the march at the Metropolitan Cathedral and will have their banner.

In October, the AOC Europe 2021 arms fair is scheduled to take place in the Liverpool City Council owned ACC Exhibition Centre. Mayor Joanne Anderson says Councillors oppose the Arms Fair but are powerless to stop it. Four Directors have resigned from the ACC Board since February, including former Mayor Joe Anderson, and his Deputy Councillor Wendy Simon.

Arms companies whose weapons and military technology have been used to oppress civilian populations across the world, including in Palestine & Yemen, will descend on Liverpool to market their deadly products. These include Raytheon, the world’s 4th largest arms company; Textron who supply Saudi Arabia with cluster bombs used in Yemen; MBDA, a joint venture including BAE systems to supply missiles, Elbit Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries.

Join the demonstration to demand that the arms fair does not go ahead Saturday 11 September
