As well as raising the issue of arms trade the vigil is part of world wide actions in support of three young Israeli women who face prison because, in solidarity with the Palestinian people, they refuse to serve in the Israeli army which is involved in maintaining the occupation of the West Bank and the repeated attacks on Gaza.
